We are a platform that lets car owners register their cars and access car products and services, track their expenses and history of repairs, schedule for services and repairs, compare prices, mobile mechanics, and more.

Why spana?

In 2022, we did a survey of car owners in Tanzania, mostly in Dar Es Salaam, Arusha, and Dodoma. The objective of the survey was to understand car owners and users, their challenges and behavior, and how to address them. 

We distributed questionnaires and interviewed and talked with countless car owners and users, mechanics, insurance experts, and more.

The 72.8% of the results show there’s a gap in excellent and quality car maintenance and repair services and most people never get the desired satisfaction.
